The main core that stand out to us are
- bandwidth costs paying per GB instead of per Gbit seems expensive
- DDoS protection or perhaps lack of
- limited IPs per AWS account
- hosting mail in AWS is a challenge as most of their IPs are on blacklists

We wonder if we'll see similar things with EIG hosts

Interesting: GoDaddy is "migrating the vast majority of its infrastructure as part of a multi-year transition" with AWS.

GoDaddy will be using Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) P3 Instances, among other services. GoDaddy told TechCrunch that it is not migrating its domains under management to AWS since it is a core business for the company.

AWS is also working to incorporate GoDaddy's domain technology and website building products into the AWS experience.
